Spring's Apples 1998

Commissioned for a private residence.

One of Leap's professors in college suggested the idea of rewarding the viewer for taking the time to look close. As a result, Leap's windows frequently contain hidden images or images with symbolic meanings. Here the apples refer to the client's street address. Look for other hidden images in this window. The stylized leaves in the background are inspired by the work of William Morris, British designer of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
